| Avice Hill Jazz is a community band for all ages and abilities. Our aim is to be able to play and learn in a non-threatening, fun-filled environment. Practices are held every Tuesday evening from 7pm till 8.30pm at the Avice Hill Arts and Crafts centre. Recent Events - Akaroa | ||||||
| Avice Hill's Akaroa weekend was a smash hit! Hamish organised the venue which was amazing, and everyone had a great time playing music, joining in with various workshops and generally having a whole lot of fun. Erina's Cha Cha workshops added some latin flavour, and the percussion workshops by Marguerite and Pete gave us all an exercise in co-ordination! Just when we were beginning to think the weekend was more work than play, we all headed in to Akaroa for a meal and a few drinks. This was a great opportunity to get to know people better, and Hamish even managed to sneak a camera in - check out the photos below from our night on the town! | ||||||
